We are in the process of designing a craved gorilla door that will retail for $2,500.00 us. $500.00 dollars of each door sold will go towards efforts to put an end to the need for deforestation and the need to use coal. What do you think about portable propane stoves as the best alternative?
I have been living in the DRC since June 2007 and now I am based in Goma working with the Alternative Energy Program. All efforts are made towards preserving the forests of Virunga while providing with a sustainable liveihood to local populations.

Seeing the mountain gorillas for the first time ...
Seeing the mountain gorillas for the first time ...
My dream is to come back to eastern Congo in 10 years time, and visit Virunga National park with my son Serafin. Even though I have been living in DRC for the last 3 years, I have never seen the mountain gorillas yet. I will save such a beautiful moment to share it with Serafin. I would like to help all the amazing efforts the ICCN park rangers are doing to save the last 200 mountain gorillas (out of 720) that live in the park.
